Club sends ShelterBox to Pakistan

At a recent meeting of Arbroath Rotary Club, Members voted decisively to send a ShelterBox to aid the flood victims in Pakistan.  A demonstration ShelterBox was on display at the Rotary Stall at the recent Sea Front Spectacular.

International Convener John Cuthbert explained, "The ShelterBox is a unique piece of kit that can really save lives. Each box contains a 10 man tent, a selection of blankets, cooking utensils and water purification devices.  At a cost of around £490 each they are not cheap but provide effective humanitarian relief."
